It gives us an immense pleasure to invite you to the PLA National Conference being organized by Malout Institute of Management & Information Technology (MIMIT), Malout on December 3 – 4, 2016 at its campus. The theme for this conference is “Role of Academic and Public Libraries in the Internet Era: Challenges & Opportunities”.   

This national conference would try to fill the gap between the academics and the real scenario by providing an open platform to Academicians/ Librarians/ Information Scientists/ Research Scholars/ Students and Staff of Library and Information Science, Information Management, Information Technology, Computer Science etc. It will attract scholars and experts from diverse areas and help discuss the various Challenges & Opportunities with the advent of Internet Technologies in the day to day functioning of Public Libraries.

Accepted and Selected papers will be reviewed and published in the hard copy Proceedings book bearing an ISBN Number.
