Dear Academicians,
It is a matter of immense pleasure to inform you that Shimurali Sachinandan College of Education is going to organise the UGC Sponsored National Seminar on “Exertion to Establish Knowledge Society: Responsibility of Academic Libraries” in collaboration with CSIR - Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, Kolkata on 24th & 25th September, 2016.
The seminar is going to deliberate upon the main issues of the theme including Academic Libraries in Building of Knowledge Society; Amplification of Library and Information Science Professionals; Open Source Movement & Knowledge Dissemination; Institutional Digital Repository & Resource Sharing; Intellectual Property Rights & Plagiarism; Users’ Education in the Academic Library and Importance of Library in Modern Life and Society.
Prospective authors are invited to submit manuscripts as per on any one of the thrust areas of the seminar. Papers should be in Times New Roman font and include title of the article (font size 14 bold), name of the author, designation, affiliation, email (font size 12 bold), & for Bengali version SUMIT font may be used, font size 11, line spacing - single. The full length papers should not exceed 4000 words along with the indicative abstract within 300 words and 3-5 keywords. References within the text and at the end of the paper should be in the style prescribed in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA), 6th edition. A signed declaration must be sent that the theme is own and the paper has not been published or submitted anywhere else for publication. Manuscripts should be submitted to the Organising Secretary through e-mail “attachment” to: seminar.ssce@gmail.com or sambhu.halder@gmail.com latest by 31.08.2016.
Selected papers will be published in the post conference volume with ISBN.
