Walk-in-interview for temporary position in the library, 2016
Details:
1. Name of the post: Library Assistant / Trainee
Number of posts: 2 (Two) Purely on temporary/ad hoc basis.
Qualifications: M.L.I.Sc ( with 55% marks and above) with good knowledge of cataloging, MS-Office and Reference Sources. Must also have good communication skill ( English – written and spoken )
Salary: Rs. 15,000/- p.m. (Consolidated and all inclusive)
Period of appointment: 8 months
2. Name of the post: Junior Library Assistant
Number of posts: 4 (Four). Purely on temporary/ad hoc basis
Qualifications: M.L.I.Sc (with 55% marks and above) with good knowledge of stock verification process and related records.
Salary: Rs.10000/- p.m. ( Consolidated and all inclusive )
Period of appointment: 1 month. May be extended, if required.
*Those who have appeared for the final year M.L.I.Sc examinations in 2016 may also apply for these posts. However, such candidates are required to bring a letter from their HOD stating that she/he has appeared for the final semester examination and results are awaited..
